WEDNESDAY WORSHIP
“WHAT IS FAITH?”
The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11:6, “WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE
GOD.” Do you want to please God? Then it is important to not only know what faith
is, but to also possess it.
Next Wednesday, July 21st at 6:45 p.m., during our worship service, Dr. John
will be preaching a message entitled, “WHAT IS FAITH?” Invite a friend to worship
with us and hear how you can please God.
BUILDING FUND
We have received $571,319.00 towards
the second phase of our building plan which will be a second story on the Educational
Building. If you would like to make a donation

you may either send it to the church office, or use one of the brown envelopes
in the pews marked,
“BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE.”

Cassette tapes and CD’S of our Sunday and Wednesday messages are available. You can pick them up from the cabinet in the foyer of the church. For special requests, call the church office at 954-564-2019. A donation towards the tape ministry is always appreciated.
BRICK DEDICATION PROGRAM
You can order an engraved brick(s) in memory or in honor of a loved one, for
a special occasion, with your favorite scripture, or even as a gift, to be
permanently placed in the church garden. The cost per brick is $125 ($100
go directly toward the Building Fund). Not only will you help beautify the
church grounds, but your message will be an inspiration to others and a testimony
for our Lord Jesus Christ. The order forms are located in the foyer of the

PASTOR’S CLASS
The Pastor’s Class will resume next Thursday, July 22nd at 7:00 p.m. All new
members, friends and long standing members are invited to attend the class.
Dr. John will be teaching the basics of the Christian faith and the class
will meet from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Education Building, Room #8.
PRESCHOOL SUMMER CAMP
First Christian Church Preschool is still accepting summer camp registrations
for any children ages 2 1/2 to 6 years old. Camp began June 21st and will
continue until August 13th. Eight weeks packed with fun activites for the
children. Each week will represent a different theme (eg. the circus, everglades,
different cultures, etc.) for them to learn about. Chapel on Wednesday mornings
will be led by Christine Sturgis. Hot lunches will be available on Wednesdays
and Fridays. For more information, please call our Preschool Director, Sadie

BAPTISM IN THE OCEAN
On Sunday, July 25th at 6:00 p.m., Dr. John will be baptizing in the ocean
at the picnic area next to the Yankee Clipper. If you have trusted Jesus
Christ as your Savior and want to be baptized at this time, please call the
church office at 954-564-2019, or see Dr. John after the worship services.
A “bring-your-own-picnic-dinner” will follow, and all our members and friends
are invited to join us.
MEN & WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
Our Men & Women’s Bible Study is scheduled for every Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the overflow room. The topic of study is “Getting Right With God” which is led by Dan Jones. Anyone interested in participating is welcome to join us. See you there!
